When you click one of those links and go on to make a purchase, we may earn a small commission from the retailer or brand. This doesn’t change what you pay — the price is identical whether you click our link or type the website address in yourself. The commission comes out of a marketing budget the brand has already allocated, not out of your pocket. 

Those commissions are what keep this site running. They cover the time that goes into researching a brand properly before writing about it, testing products where we can, and keeping the content here free for anyone to read. If you’ve bought something through a link on this site, that purchase genuinely supported the work. 

The network we work with: 

We are a publisher partner on AWIN, one of the largest affiliate networks globally. Through AWIN, we work with brands across fashion, beauty, home, lifestyle, and tech — which covers most of what you’ll find reviewed on this site. When you click a link to a brand we’re partnered with through AWIN and make a purchase, their system attributes the sale back to us and we may receive a commission as a result.

AWIN operates under its own privacy and data practices, separate from ours. If you want to understand how tracking works on their end, their policy is publicly available on their site. 

We occasionally link to brands or products we have no commercial relationship with at all — in those cases we earn nothing. We still include those links when we think they’re genuinely useful, because the point of this site is to be useful first. 

What this disclosure doesn’t mean: 

It doesn’t mean our opinions are for sale. We’ve written reviews that are critical of brands we have affiliate relationships with through AWIN, because the relationship has never been the thing that determines what we write. Commission rates have never changed a recommendation on this site, and they’re not going to start now. 

It doesn’t mean every link you see is an affiliate link. Some are, some aren’t, and we try to be reasonably clear about that distinction where it matters.

If a brand has paid specifically for placement or coverage — which is a different and separate relationship from affiliate commissions — that content is clearly labeled as sponsored at the top.

We don’t bury that distinction. 

This disclosure follows the FTC’s guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). We’ve tried to make it genuinely informative rather than the kind of legal boilerplate nobody actually reads.
